It is of no secret that the earth is under attack but its inhabitants, mankind, and it is slowly but surely depleting. Green technology is a newer application to the studies of environmental science that concentrates on the conservation of the environment and attempt retroactive applications or methods to destructive human involvement. This current science study is constantly providing for new and progressive ideas, that with the aid of new science technology, may help eliminate some of the harmful human actions and patterns that are damaging the earth. Some of the current science technologies employed are: recycling, renewable energy, water purification, alternative and clean energy, and solid waste management. These current science methods and applications are becoming more and more viable as technology evolves with the cause. Some of the most popular being applied by people on an every day basis are the use of solar energy, hybrid electric cars, and recycling, which is the easiest and most basic of these applications. These vehicles used a combination of an electric and gas-powered motor to provide its source of power.
